My experience with the application process so far has been very positive. Communication has been clear and reliable, and I really appreciated the flexibility in finding a suitable time for the interview. The conversation itself was friendly, open and informative. I received a very good first overview of Wikimedia Deutschland as well as the working environment, the team and the job position. There was enough space for my questions, and I felt genuine interest in my experience and motivation. Overall, I felt welcome and valued as a candidate. I also appreciate how transparent and inclusive the process has been. I knew what to expect, and the next steps were explained clearly. So far, I have no particular suggestions for improvement.

I was immediately comfortable and at ease throughout the interview and I greatly admire how the interviewer steered this conversation. Definitely kept everything transparent and left me feeling positive. I did not feel that I was being “evaluated”, rather, it felt like the interviewer wanted to genuinely understand my background and engage. My only feedback is that I hope this process and energy doesn’t change in the future!

Der Prozess war klar strukturiert und das Gespräch fachlich kompetent, sympathisch und respektvoll — insgesamt eine sehr positive Erfahrung, die meinen Eindruck von Wikimedia nochmals bestärkt hat.

The experience was great on my side: the interview was well-structured, and the interviewers were well-prepared, professional, and friendly. They provided relevant information and asked thoughtful questions, which left me with the impression that these positions genuinely matter to the team. Through the interview, I got a clear picture of what the team needs for these roles.

Wirklich sehr freundlich, offen und transparent! Ich hatte im Einstiegsgespräch jedoch nicht mit breit wissensbasierten/hypothetischen/situationalen Fragen gerechnet, sondern hatte mich basierend auf den Informationen aus dem vorausgehenden E-Mail-Austausch auf motivationale und verhaltens- bzw. erfahrungsbasierte Auskünfte vorbereitet, wobei Letzteres eine geringere Rolle spielte.

Das Treffen war sehr angenehm und alle Themen wurden auf den Punkt angesprochen. Ich hatte während des ganzen Gesprächs Zeit meine Fragen zu stellen. Ich bin außerdem sehr gut über meine Aufgaben und das weitere Verfahren aufgeklärt worden.

Das Gespräch war sehr angenehm und gut strukturiert. Ich habe mich wohlgefühlt und die offene Kommunikation sehr geschätzt. Besonders positiv fand ich den Fokus auf Open Source und Zusammenarbeit. Vielen Dank für die Möglichkeit.

Ich hatte bisher noch zu wenig Kontakt, um ein umfängliches Feedback, außerhalb der oben gegebenen 1-5 Einschätzungen, zu geben.
